Katherine completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology concurrently and was admitted as a legal practitioner in June 2011.
Before focusing on Family Law, Katherine gained a broad knowledge and experience in the areas of Personal Injury Law, Corporate Law, Litigation, Building and Construction Law and Business Structuring and Estate Planning.
Katherine transitioned to Family Law a few years ago and feels it was only then that she felt truly inspired and passionate about being a lawyer.
Katherine has worked exclusively with Reagan in Family Law for the past four years and has an interest in Parenting Matters. Her understanding that separating from a spouse can be one of the most difficult life experiences ensures Katherine helps clients navigate this difficult time with care and skill.
Assisting clients to implement appropriate arrangements for their children is one of Katherine’s key areas of expertise. She works with clients to identify an arrangement that is in the best interests of their children and pragmatically works with the other side in achieving that outcome.
Katherine also has an interest in matters relating to the division of property and, in particular, helping clients transition smoothly to a position where they are financially independent from their former spouse.
Katherine’s diverse background in other areas of law (particularly Business Structuring and Asset Protection) allows her to deal with the most complex property matters such as companies and trusts, with ease and efficiency.
